Our Clive Berghofer Land Sales, Fabtech Liners & Covers and Federal Hotel Valleys A-Grade side secured their 3rd win on the trot with a tough 26 – 10 victory over Highfields. In a stop start match with alot of penalties it was hard for both teams to build any momentum and quite a frustrating match for spectators to watch. Two soft tries conceded in the first half was a disappointment for us but the response in keeping Highfields scoreless in the 2nd half was exactly what we were looking for and the kind of effort we need to strive for over 80 minutes. Inoke Rokotolu was a standout in the middle of the park and Vaea La’akulu picked up a deserved players player award after a tough display. Another week off will make it hard to find our rhythm again when we travel out to Dalby for a hard road trip that we need to win..
