On a very cold Saturday afternoon our Under 18 boys took on the Warwick Cowboys in a grand final rematch from last season.
The execution of our structure in the first half was very pleasing and we produced some excellent try scoring opportunities which led to us leading 16 nil at halftime. Unfortunately, our structure unravelled a bit in the second half and we allowed Warwick to get back in the game by not completing our sets correctly & respecting the ball. We are winning, but we are still a way off our best with still too many mistakes. This win was all about luck in the last minute with Warwick missing a relatively easy conversion which would have drawn the game. The final score 20-18. Man of the Match Dylan Haajiar ran strongly and scored two good tries.
