On Sunday afternoon we took on Brothers and had a comfortable victory winning 36-8. It was an entertaining game at times and showed off our increasing depth within the team. The Brothers team took it to us at times and even frustrated our continuity where we sometimes let ourselves down. Again, there was plenty of mistakes, but good signs that our commitment and team structure are coming together. Trazan and Dylan were fantastic on attack and Trazan showed an uncanny knack of being able to get the ball away in the tackle with some exceptional offloads which benefited Blake and Nick on a number of occasions. In the halves Marouna was dangerous consistently and ignited our attack for players like Nathan, Jeff and Brendon to showcase their skills. Blake Baird was our best on ground today, but there were a number of players not far behind.
If we can get the mistakes out of our game, and show maturity and patience we will be hard to beat.
