This week we took on the Warwick at home in very cold conditions and a strong wind to the east. We started on fire for a change with Alex Antonio crossing for our first try after a minute thanks to a 40/20 from Josh Hancock. The high of the half however, was a 99 metre try by Josh(happy) Gilmore running in from fullback. We started the second half very well also, with Alex and Ben Atkins steam rolling though the Warwick defence from the kick off. We didn’t let up untill the final whistle and won convincingly 50 to 18. A great game by Alex, Ziggy and Josh Glass with Gus Mati not far behind. But in saying that, everyone played very well. Alex took out the players’ player award. Well done boys were just starting to find our best but we can still improve.
