Another Sunday game this week against the Pittsworth Danes and we were looking to make up for our loss last week with a better start to the game this week which we managed to. The first half was tough with the Danes defending aggressively, but we stuck to our game plan and managed to take a lead into half time 16-0. The second half we stuck to our game plan, stayed patient and got away with the points in a very good win for us. The final score being 38-18. Our defence was greatly improved this week with the effort of the day going to Mitch Willis and Jono Perry in stopping a try as the Pittsworth player tried to improve his position, great stuff. Ben Atkins, Oliver Scott and the twin Josh’s in the halves were great. The club welcomed back the great Kim Phoenix today showing he still has it. Great to see you back Kim. Next week we take on Souths away and a win will go a long way towards cementing our position in the top five.
