On Saturday night we took on the Oakey Bears. We had too many errors in the first half which led to Oakey leading 18-6 at half time. Oakey had enough ball to lead by more but our defence was, at times, very good. We were very positive at half time knowing if we hung on to the ball, the game would soon go our way. We came out and played great footy to get the score back to 18-12, and unlucky not to be 18 all when Jack Bishop was hurt badly and led to the game being called off with 20 minutes to go. Great news came later in the night with Jack not having a broken neck, he only had a torn ligament of the bone and muscle damage. We all hope he has a speedy recovery. All good boys, lets keep up our effort at training and now we take on Brothers away on Sunday.
