Another Saturday night, another cold and wet night and another opposing reserve grade side beaten edging us closer to this year’s grand final. We took on the Warwick cowboys and started the game a little bit slow letting Warwick score early. But that seemed to be the kick in the butt we needed as we went on to score 26 unanswered points. Once again the boys in the middle lead the way getting us going forward, but it was our two edge groups that did the damage. First our right side with their solid defense, it was just about perfect and our left side with their attack. Player of the day was Jaye Steer, who had a monster game again, but everyone had great games. Thanks to the three under 18 s who sat up. A Sunday day game next week is our next challenge. We are one win away from a grand final appearance.
