Our A grade side scored a 62-22 win over Oakey at home last Saturday night. Despite racking up some points it was disappointing to concede soft tries and let our attitude in how we approached the game drop. Coming up against Souths this week means we ll virtually need a complete turnaround in that attitude to be competitive.
It was great to see Josh Waters back to his best after several injury set backs and in the open field he looked great once again. Inoke Rokotolu was really effective also and Oli Scott picked up 4 tries in a great performance that we ll never hear the end of!
Andrew Farrell continued his brilliant form out of dummy half and for the 2nd week in a row Josh Hancock and Jake Capewell paired well in the halves. The competition is still tight with only a handful of games remaining and we’ll need to ensure we re at our best with some tough games in front of us against quality teams
