And just like that the Toowoomba Valleys Roosters Club is out of finals contention in all grades and our Season is over with all 4 teams suffering heart breaking losses in the finals. A few telling factors did not go our way on game day including critical injuries to star players which heavily impacted on the final make up of all teams. Not our year this year but as we all know we will be back and back stronger than ever next season. The preparation for next season has already started and we will announce our 2022 season coaching staff shortly. In the meantime we will reflect on our achievements in 2021 where we had all four teams in finals and 3 teams reached the Preliminary finals in their respective grades. Although we didn’t get a premiership, it was still a good year. We now move forward and rebuild. Thanks to all 2021 coaches and staff in all grades who have successfully continued in our tradition of “What we do, We do Well”. We also acknowledge the support from our loyal partners and sponsors whom contribute so much to the story of our success,
Congratulations also to our on field stand out performers who were recently recognised at the Toowoomba Rugby League Awards. A Grade Players Drew Jackson, Dwayne Duncan, Brock Diment and Blake Mara were all nominated for the TRL Team of the Year. Our own Valleys Ambassador Kaylah Pearce was crowned TRL Ambassador of the Year which is a terrific effort.
