Emu Gully has proved to be the perfect venue for the conclusion of the 2023 preseason for the Valleys Club in all grades. In what has been a somewhat stop – start few months of training with the main trial games cancelled, Emu Gully provided a much needed team work environment for the players with the Club Coaches eager to see the strengths of many working together. The general feedback from all about the experience was excellent and with new players mingling with the Valleys veterans has created a sound and exciting team culture heading into the first round of TRL fixtures this weekend. All Valleys teams are shaping up well for their respective seasons ahead showing plenty of optimism and drive for success. Team Coaches for A Grade are Matthew Schulze and Joshua Barrett. Reserve Grade Coaches are Shaun Weatherall and Daniel Yung. Open Women’s Coaches are Amanda Rowe and Michael Kelly while the Under 19’s Coaches are Jesse Martin and Nathan Duncan. 2023 Captain’s are, A Grade Jason Sharpe, Dwayne Duncan and Dylan Chown. Reserve Grade Harrison Murphy and Nicholas Ryals. Open Women’s Emily Walker and Kendal Lane. Under 19’s Jack Stenzel. We all now look forward to the season ahead.
