On Sunday afternoon we travelled to Gatton to take on the unbeaten reigning premiers. We were expecting a very tough match and we got it of course. To our credit we had trained well all week in the freezing conditions. With everyone contributing on the field extremely well and combinations working together we managed to pull off one of our most important victories so far for this season. A great win with the final score being 28-24. Everyone played extremely well, but we cannot get too far ahead of ourselves. Another good week of training is required which should produce more consistent footy for us. The stand outs for us this week were our two front rowers Kim Pheonix and Ben Atkins. Josh Birch and Ray Duncan were both fantastic also. We now need to build on this and look towards producing good footy based on effort leading towards the finals. Wattles this week at Clifton and hopefully we can consolidate our position on the ladder.
