The Clive Berghofer Land Sales, Fabtech Liners & Covers and Federal Hotel Valleys A Grade side finished strongly against Highfields and kept our season alive with the 48-24 victory setting up a fifth placed playoff against Highfields again on Wednesday night. After a solid start we fell away in two patches midway through each half which is dissappointing and our error rate will need to come significantly down for the playoff match. Andrew Farrell, Luke Smith and Tyrone Jowett continued their great form in the middle of the park for us whilst Gus Mackellar ensured we finished smart and put on some great late tries. Josh Waters and Jay Melrose both also had massive hands in some entertaining footy late in the game. We now face the mammoth task of a wednesday night playoff and if we get through that, another short turnaround for the minor semi final on Saturday. Our boys are positive and ready for the challenge but we need all the support we can get for the playoff and hopefully the minor semi final from all Roosters fans. So get out and get behind us!
