City Mechanical & Auto Electrical, Saxon Energy Services and Kev’s Welding Works Valleys Reserve Grade v Gatton at Herb Steinohrt Oval, 4th May, 2013

Last week our City Mechanical & Auto Electrical, Saxon Energy Services and Kev’s Welding Works Valleys Reserve Grade boys came up against a very strong Gatton side. We were down on numbers from our last game due to a heap of injuries and some key players stepping up into A-Grade which had us playing yet another totally different footy side. Our guys were first to score in the game early on with Chall crossing the stripe, but unfortunately, that’s where it stopped for us with Gatton throwing everything, including the kitchen sink our way. To the boys credit,no one dropped their heads or stopped trying which was pleasing, they were just far too strong on the night. Man of the match honors went to young Mitch Willis who played well in a beaten side and led from the front. Cheers Fordy
