In hot and dry conditions the Toowoomba Roosters showed that in 2014 we will once again be a force in the TRL competition. Our Under 18 side showed passion and good fight to come away with a hard fought 24 – 16 win. With a few of our bigger boys away, coach Matt Budden should be happy with this result and has a good core playing group to work with. The Roosters A Graders had a tough physical encounter with an opposition whom boasted ex NRL stars. Our guys showed maturity and ground out a classy 17 – 6 victory with all players contributing on the field. No injury concerns, so in all a successful day out for the Club. A big thank you to the Chinchilla Bulldogs for hosting us, who put on a great atmosphere and have got loads of local support, which is exactly what the Roosters are hoping to achieve in 2014.
