Cory McGrady has been named the 2018 Valleys Player of the Year after a remarkable season of exceptional footy. Cory is in his first year with the Toowoomba roosters but quickly established himself as the leader on the field. Cory will once again don the Red and Black stripes in season 2019.
The 2018 season will see the formation of the newest team to the Valleys Club. The Toowoomba Valleys Fillies will be entered into the Brisbane Rugby League competition and play all home games at Valleys Herb Steinohrt Oval.
For the TRL Under 18 Premiers for 2017. Congratulations to the all conquering Valleys Under 18 team who have taken out the TRL 2017 Premiership. This is the Team’s 3rd premiership in a row and is a credit to hard working coaches Matt Schulze and Scott Brunner.
The 2017 Club Captain was recently announced as being Jake Capewell. Jake is photographed with former NRL players Brett Seymour and Scott Hill. Jake has been a senior member of our club for sometime and will assist in a coaching role as well. Well done Jake.
